Priest Godsknight, whose real names are Godsknight Oladipupo Jesufeekofunwa, hails from THE OSIFEKO FAMILY in a town called “Ijebu-Ife”, in Ogun State, Nigeria.
He studied Music Technology in The Polytechnic Ibadan, Nigeria. Hence, a Musicologist, Music Teacher, Writer, Composer, Rapper & Dancer.
Priest Godsknight discovered his ability to compose in the year 2000 while in Secondary School, hence, his foray into the music world/ industry began.
He has had several singles to his credit, as a secular artiste. He shot his first-ever Musical Video titled “Swagger For God (Gospel), in the year 2012, courtesy of Nigezie (KWAME).
In spite of all odd, he mustered the courage to release his 13 tracker maiden album, titled “The Messenger”, in the year 2014. Set for his sophomore, he now drops his New Single “See Tomorrow”, an inspirational & motivational track that can heal the devastated to their marrows; on January 7th, 2021.
The track “See Tomorrow”, was produced, Mixed & Mastered by Teedot Unbeaten.
As an electrifying Music performer, he’s vast & comfortable on diverse genres.
He has stellar performances in several events including the 2006,2007 edition of “Celtel NYSC welcome Party” in Lagos Nigeria, PFN Gala Nite in 2015, & a handful of ministrations recently amongst others to the glory of God.

I wrote this song, VICTORIOUS, in the heat of the COVID pandemic.
Before then, I was one of those people most terrified by the dreaded coronavirus.
The media trended the strange disease as something that should be thoroughly feared. The thoughts of painful death by not being able to breath unsettled many people. The photos and video were graphic. All sorts of news about the virus spread everywhere (Infodemic)
Everyone who coughed or sneezed was considered a suspect.
We were mandated to wear facemasks, wash hands, sanitize and to make the matter worst, avoid physical contact with our fellow human beings – friends, families, colleagues etc.
Then came the LOCKDOWN, the most frightening of the COVID rules. We all seemed to be under house arrest. The poor suffered the most out of hunger. The sick could not access the hospital or get drugs. Then places of worship were shutdown. That was like double jeopardy.
Amid the pandemic, God’s word came to me in Isaiah 41:10; “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
Romans 8:37; Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
The pandemic altered 2020 for many people. Every sector of the economy was affected. Businesses went bankrupt; many people lost their jobs. Many died.
VICTORIOUS by Emeka Mars is an Afro Pop Gospel song which celebrates the victory already won for us by Jesus Christ and assures believers that God will always see us through irrespective of the challenges we face in life. It is Emeka Mars’ third single.
Let not your heart be troubled.
To the Glory of God, the virus is being defeated and the lockdown has been relaxed. Life is coming back to normal. Jesus saw us through it all.
There is no better way to celebrate this than to sing VICTORIOUS.
